Francesco Benavides graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2008. After graduating, Francesco worked for one of the nation’s most prestigious law firms, Latham & Watkins LLP. In 2010, Francesco began working in the San Francisco office of the Office of the General Counsel for Social Security as an Assistant Regional Counsel and Special Assistant United States Attorney. Over the next ten years, Francesco litigated nearly a thousand cases on behalf of the government in California, Ohio, Kentucky and Nevada Federal District Courts. Francesco successfully defended two appellate cases, one in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and another in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals that resulted in published decisions.
Francesco began his own private practice in August 2020. Since founding his firm, Francesco has been assisting individuals with Social Security disability appeals. In federal district court litigation, Francesco has had a success rate of over 85%. He provides guidance for other attorneys and serves as an outlet to clients who wish to pursue appeal of their cases beyond the administrative appeals level.
